Our Leadership

Susan Ridenhour, President

As HRX Systems, LLC’s president, Susan Ridenhour, SHRM-SCP, SPHR helps clients manage benefit administration; provides management consulting; oversees recruitment and staffing; directs policy creation and implementation; creates and implements training and development; manages employee relations; and directs position and compensation management.

With more than two decades of experience, Ridenhour has provided HR consulting services to a variety of organizations. For many years, she was the owner of Kaleidoscope Group, LLC, an Annapolis based human resources management firm. Prior to her time as a consultant, Ridenhour served as the human resources director of Barcoding, Inc. and the human resources manager for the Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP).

Ridenhour holds a BA in communication from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

Jeffrey Gillis, Vice President

As HRX Systems, LLC’s vice president and co-founder, Jeff provides management-advisory services and employee coaching in the areas of employee development, leadership training, organizational structure, and decision-making skills.

With over twenty years of experience managing employee benefit plans for small and large employers, Jeff utilizes his financial background to present benefits solutions that meet the needs of both the employer and its employees from both a financial and plan design perspective.

In addition to studying economics at UMBC, Jeff graduated from the University of Maryland University College, earning an MBA from the School of Management and Technology. Jeff is also a CPA and has over 25 years of C-level management experience in roles as a CFO and COO working for mid and large companies. Jeff is also a licensed health and license producer in Maryland.
